Women's leadership training for Dhi Qar activists

During the period 12-13 June 2022 in Dhi Qar Governorate, Tammuz Organization for Social Development, in association with the BAX Organization, performed a training workshop entitled "Women's Leadership" within the "Female Revolution" project.

The workshop, which was under the supervision of the trainer Amna Koyani, was attended by 25 trainees from diverse cities of Dhi Qar.

The first day of the workshop began with introducing women's leadership, leadership qualities, and leadership skills, besides communication, effective communication skills, and leadership styles. After that, they conducted an exercise for the participants in communication and leadership.

After fulfillment of the applicable activities, women's leadership was demonstrated by exercises, as images and samples from reality were shown, and at the closing of the first day of the training, they performed the "role-playing" exercise, which is a specific leadership role within the work team.

On the second day, the trainer displayed a video about emotional intelligence, and after finishing it, the transformational leadership toward women's rights was explained. After that, they divided the participants into groups, so that each group wrote the names of women leaders in Qar Governorate.

In closing, the staff of Tammuz Organization thanked the trainer and the participants for their presence and great interaction during the days of the workshop. The participants also talked about the great benefit of the training and their acquisition of meaningful new knowledge in their careers and social life.
