“Revolution is Female: Participation in Sumerion Festival”

On Friday 7-October-2022 in the governorate of Dhi-Qar, “Revolution is Female”  team participated in the Sumerion historical festival which aims at attracting attention , promoting and preserving the heritage of Dhi-Qar governorate.

Many activities were included such as handicrafts, musical performances , paintings and books exhibitions  besides, a pamphlet entitled ” Voice of Revolution” was distributed by the team female activists who also gave an introduction about the project and most prominent activities of Tammuz Organization and how to join the project for those who desire to.

It is worth mentioning that the project aims at raising awareness, highlighting the role of women, improving their capabilities so that they can be able of changing their stereotype picture and to actively take part in leading and decision making centers, the project is implemented by Tammuz Organization in cooperation with Bax Organization in Najaf and Dhi-qar.
