Under the slogan "Peace...Development...Development" For effective community leadership

On Friday, October 14, 2022 in Baghdad, Tammuz Organization for Social Development, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, held the first annual conference for young leaders program under the above-mentioned slogan.

 

The conference was attended by the graduates of the four previous years of the program, as the purpose was to increase communication, joint work and networking between generations, and to discuss ways to develop the program and raise it to better levels.

 

During the conference, our colleague Evan Karim gave a summary of youth and their function in social development and peacemaking, the participants were divided into working groups to cover three lines:

Opportunities and challenges facing active youth in community leadership.

Suggestions and visions for future work plans.

- Experiences of programs and success stories to benefit from in the development of society.

After that, the outputs of the working groups were presented, which included important recommendations and proposals that will be taken into consideration for the purpose of developing the Young Leaders Program in the coming years.

The conference concluded with thanks by the Tammuz organization staff to the participants for their commitment and attendance, and the launch of the fifth generation of the Young Leaders Program was announced, for which the application form will be published in the coming days.
