Breast cancer awareness session for University of Kufa students

On Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the University of Kufa - College of Basic Education, “Revolution is Female” Team - Najaf Governorate held a breast cancer awareness session in cooperation with the Najaf Health Directorate, Division (Cancer, Prevention and Early diagnose).

 

a number of female students attended the session , and Dr. Enas Zuhair Al-Mutairi (responsible for the breast examination clinic at Al-Sadr Medical City Hospital) was hosted to talk about the disease in general, “such as how women get breast cancer, the importance of early screening and its prevention, and who are the most vulnerable groups in addition to that. The symptoms of the disease and indicators of cancer and how to distinguish it from other diseases.

 

The door to questions and interventions was opened, as the session was rich with inquiries by the attendees to discover more about the diseases risk and to discuss about it in general.

 

After that, the female revolution team took a tour inside the University of Kufa to distribute brochures containing awareness information about breast cancer to raise awareness among students of the importance of early screening.
