Compensation of Affected Citizens is National Duty

On Saturday, 20 April 2019, within the framework of the Free Legal Clinic Project in Anbar, in partnership with the DPK). The fourth workshop was held  in Saqlawiya district  under the slogan of  "Compensation of the affected citizens is a national duty", in the presence of our colleague Ali Ghazal and our colleague Mustafa Abed Ahmed and (24) beneficiaries.  Our colleague Ali Ghazal started the workshop by welcoming the attendees to their participation in the workshop. He then gave an overview on the free legal clinic and the services it provides to citizens affected by military operations, Military and war crimes and terrorist acts during the control of ISIS over the city, and then, our colleague Mustafa Abed, lawyer of the free legal clinic in Anbar, began to provide a detailed explanation of the procedures for the promotion of transactions for compensation and categories of compensation, in addition to the needed documents and documents to promote transactions.  The clinic's lawyer also confirmed that the project provides services free of charge. During the workshop, questions were asked by the beneficiaries about some of the procedures necessary to promote the transactions, and the questions were answered and the attendees’ questions were asked and their cases were received. Also, they were given the advice they needed. Moreover, 75 brochures were distributed during the workshop to the attendees.

At the end of the workshop, our colleagues thanked the attendees for their commitment to attend the workshop. The attendees also thanked the organizers of the workshop and the project's offer of citizens to provide free legal assistance to them.
