 On Thursday, 27/12/2018 at the headquarters of the Iraqi Al-amal Association, Tammuz Organization for Social Development participated in the second meeting on the writing of the shadow report of the CEDAW convention, 


(Periodic Meeting of the Support Committee of strengthening Democracy in Iraq Project)

 On Saturday 22/12/2018, at the headquarters of Iraq Public Aid Organization, The Support Committee for the Project of the strengthening of Democracy in Iraq 


A visit to the directorate of protecting families and children against domestic violence

 Tammuz organization for social development participated in the Iraqi women network delegation in a visit to the vice-ministry of police affairs in the ministry of interior/ directorate of protecting families and children from domestic violence. The visit took place on Thursday 20/12/2018. 


The program of strengthening democracy in Iraq

 Represented by our colleague Inas Jabbar, and as a member in the support committee that includes civil society organizations representatives, journalists, academics, private sector and executive figures representatives, Tammuz organization for social development participated in   with the training of the Support Committee for the Program for strengthening of Democracy 


16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence

 On the occasion of the 16 days campaign of activism against violence against women, and under the slogan of (Women are joy and peace makers), an event entitled (Bring an end to gender -based violence at work)


Under the theme of “Respect for women’s rights is respect for the rights of society and family”

 Tammuz organization for Social development office in Dhi-Qar governorate held a dialogue seminar for female university graduates. the seminar was on Iraqi women’s rights conferred by the current constitution, international covenants and agreements, as well as   an analysis of the livelihood situation for female university graduates after 2003. 


The elections of May 2018 under the microscope of elections experts

 Tammuz Organization for Social Development, in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and with the participation of the observer center, held an expert workshop (to evaluate the elections of the Iraqi Parliament 2018) on Sunday and Monday, 25-26 / 11/2018 at Al Khiam Hall/ Al-mansour milia Hotel


The president receives Iraqi women’s network delegation in Al-Salam palace

 on Thursday, 8/11/2018, Tammuz Organization for Social Development participated in the delegation of the Iraqi Women Network to visit the President of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Barham Salih at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad where the delegation expressed its congratulations and best wishes to His Excellency on the assumption of his duties
